We learn how malas help us to focus, which mantras for what and why some seem more powerful than others. We learn elementary hand mudras, and make up some of our own. We practice meditation each week, incorporating what we have discussed and learnt in that session. A little pre-reading, because at this point, your practice has made you extremely curious.
